The founding spirit behind our seva

Inspired by maternal devotion, we deliver grassroots education, health, and animal care.

A movement to secure our Mother Earth

  • Save Humanity, Save Earth
  • Spread Education
  • Save Nature, Save Earth

Born from compassionate personal sacrifice

The organisation honors late Shukli Devi, whose life was dedicated to feeding strangers and tending neglected animals.

In rural and peri-urban Bihar, families face sudden healthcare distress, children drop out of school for lack of books, and injured street animals go unheeded.

Carrying her legacy forward, community volunteers banded together to establish Shukli Devi Sewa Sansthan (SDSS).

Dedicated artisan and community hands at work

Grassroots action over hollow rhetoric

We work directly on the streets of Danapur, Khagaul, and Patna, assisting people and animals in distress.

Our core pillars of service

Daily field programs operating across Danapur neighborhoods.

Nurturing young minds through education

Volunteers distribute study kits, conduct evening remedial coaching, and assist underprivileged children across Danapur schools.

Accessible health and medical camps

Organizing primary diagnostic checkups, free physician advice, distributing essential medicines, and supporting families during acute hospital visits.

Humane care for street animals

Street animals lack public safety nets. We feed stray dogs daily, maintain neighborhood water bowls, and dress infected wounds.

Emergency food and shelter relief

Serving cooked meals during crisis times, providing monthly dry ration kits to destitute seniors, and distributing winter blankets.

Plantation drives for Mother Earth

Planting indigenous shade trees (Neem, Peepal, Banyan), maintaining cleanliness drives, and campaigning against single-use plastic.

Transparent community stewardship

Every contribution is respected. We maintain open physical distribution ledgers at our Danapur center for any supporter to inspect.

Principles that govern our team

Designed to maintain human dignity and selfless community service.

Direct Handover

All aid is delivered directly to beneficiaries without intermediaries or administrative overhead deductions.

Dignity First

Every recipient of food, clothing, or medical aid is treated with the highest familial respect.

Equal Care for Animals

Compassion cannot be selective. Stray dogs and injured animals deserve humane care.

Tree Guardianship

Every sapling planted includes volunteer guardianship to water and protect it until maturity.
